Default Motor Cooling Problems

Every time that I rev higher than about 5500 my motor kinda smells like burning oil. I also noticed that my motor heats up very quickly, even if i just let it idle for a minute in the driveway. I have the proper amount of coolant, and oil.

Is your fan working ?
Start by checking your fan. A faulty fan will make your car over heat at idle.

I have the fan switch jumped, so it's on all the time. If I let the car run for like 5 minutes and then take the oil cap off, I can see oil vapor.
