Default Alright... I've got some $$$, what next?

I have about 1200 right now (or will as of wed night) and I'm lookin to buy something...

I'm torn between three things...

1.) The really nice 32in LCD HDTV I want for $1200.
2.) Be smart and invest the money in a GSMF Roth IRA
and 3.) A new toy for the car.

I really was trying to wait for the comptech header to come out so I could get it and the Greddy Evo2 together... but I duno.

I really want to get my headlights done by customlightz.com but they wont respond to my e-mails...

I also want to get a new ECU from honda and then have it flashed by hondata.... So many choices....

then the most expensive thing I want to do to my car is buy the Tein Super Street setup... which runs $1200-$1400.

Anyone? Input?

If it were me, I would do exhaust and Hondata flash.
I can't justify spending almost a grand on headlights even if they do look sick

I would say no to the comptech header since its only the shorty header. I would either say the Hondata Reflash with the greddy OR HIDs from customlightz.

I agree. Go with the exhaust and reflash. Headlights are not worth it, especially if there customer service is lacking. Plus, lights don't increase HP. Save them for last when you have money to burn.

Says the guys with the LX sedan. There is a reason we got Si's.

I know he really doesn't want to put that money into his IRA.

1) I have a 32" flat panel LCD... never even watch tv anymore
2) Have investments & other items put away through your job.. get married if you want deductions
3) Comptech Header.... if your going to go N/A and have the money to **** away
is a good item
4) Do the Headlights yourself
5) Why by another ECU ? You either get Hondata or Don't.

No way Super Street Coils are 1200 bux

I paid about 800 for my TSX super streets and was quoted about 1050 for flex

I guess it pays to know people who hook it up at cost.
Shop around

Hook a fellow Si owner up! I have not seen anyone yet with the FLEX and if you can hook me up with the Flex's for $1050, I will buy them TODAY.
In addition, I will do a full write up with pics once I get them installed for all the fellow FG2 owners.

Let me know. Thanks.

I think I will get the Evo2 exhaust, and then just save from there on out for the suspension and a future turbo kit + engine building (so i dont kill my engine with the turbo).

You either pull a very very descent income or you have no family to feed or mortgage payments to deal with. I hope it's the former, not the latter.

Yeah, I figured that was too good to be true.

Hey, try to see what kind of price you can get if we order 2 or 3 sets of Flex's.
I know I am down, it sounds like your ready to buy, maybe we can get 1 more person and have them drop the price since we are dropping over $4G' at one time.

Anyone else interested if we can get good pricing on Flex's for our FG's?

Not trying to hi-jack anyones thread just figured since we were on the subject....Thanks.

Actually, my wife and I make a decent income. We do not have kids yet, but we do have a mortgage. So, I am still having a little fun with my car.
