I noticed that days prior to the problem i would get some backfire on decel usually higher rpms(aftermarket exhaust itr header open)
the day prior to the big problem I noticed acceleration is not good at all. almost like not all cylinders where firing but not sure about it.
the day after that I started it up and instantly the idle went to almost zero but it barely runs. I give it gas and it conks out pretty fast. cant get anywhere.
wiring is good for what I see. could it be injectors? iacv dirty? I have no idea what to check.

Could be a number of things, almost sounds like a jumped t-belt to me but that's hard to tell without looking at the car.
cell blimking continous while the car is running means the car is misfiring really bad i would say check your fuel filter. is it hard to start up the first time you start it up for the day also how you can check is take your fuel line off your fuel pressure regulator it is supposed to have pressure in it so when you take it of gas should shoot out if it dosent then it is your fuel filter

its not hard to start up at all. fuel filter is brand new. didnt remove the plugs from the dizzy and the engine head is pretty easy to put back the way you found it. any other ideas? extremely low idle and passes out when gas is given

okay its actually giving me a code now when i jump the ecu. its 3 short blinks before a long one. I thought the 10's go first then the singles. so is it a code 13? barometric sensor? would that cause the low idling and engine failure upon gas pressure? the baro sensor is inside the ecu 92 and up and that would make perfect sense that I screwed something up in there with the hondalog cable.

Check your map sensor/ wiring.
If the short blinks are first, its a code 3, the long one could just be the " Starting over to read codes again"

ty will check that. well stock "untouched" p72 ecu gives the same exact result so i think we can rule out ecu trouble.
