Default h22 / f22 parts compatibility?

doing some research on boosting the f22b1. and, in doing so, i was looking into new connecting rods and pistons and sleeves and whatnot. i was wondering if any of the mentioned items are compatible/interchangeable between the f22 and h22. because i noticed there are few choices to be found for replacing f22 internal parts, yet a plethora of available parts for the h22. also, i have seen on a past h-t thread about people boosting their cars on stock internals, and i saw the f22b1 had been boosted to somewhere in the range of 7-8 psi, if i remember correctly. i was curious if any of you knew for sure how much one could boost safely on stock internals.

thanks a ton.

I've seen people with stock internals on an F22A1, Boostin to 8 psi safeley

The F22A1 has a thick block so its able to handle a decent ammount of boost

A friend of mine has a D16y8, he bought a Bolt on Turbo kit, when he was at 98k on his motor, and hes at 130 now.. and there has been no problems

IF you would like more info check out this site
