To bondo or not to bondo
Ok so im thinking about doing a wire tuck under the hood and bondoing all of the little holes, bumps, and cracks. Now the problem is this will add 5-15 pounds. My car is a all out race car, not a show car. Are there any benifits, besides the look, that this could add? What are your thoughs?

agreed, maybe, maybe 5lbs worth. 15 seems pretty rediculous. The only benefit i can think of, is you'll be able to trouble-shoot any wiring issues you may have quickly & easily b/c you will have redone most of the underhood wiring and will be really familiar with routes and locations. Beyond that, this is mostly a cosmetic enhancement.

did you say holes??? Whip out the welder bro. use as much metal as possible. all the work will be worth it. and if your car is a race car...this shouldnt matter.
just think how lame it would be to see bondo cracking under your hood a year from now... just my op.

thats what i ment 5-15 lb including thin metal for holes... there are some big holes. And my buddy is helping with the wireing, so i think ill just leave it alone, except 2 big holes in it.
