Getting shocked by my car..
Whenever I get out of my car, or my friends get out, we get a shock. It's not like a wussy static one, its a pretty strong one. Is this caused by wiring problems, or can other things cause it?

I doubt its wiring problems. Its just static electricity.

i get the same thing....never asked any of my passengers if they got shocked...i thought it was just the rubbing of my feet on the carpet while shifting that built up the static...but idk...I wouldn't think that it would be a wireing thing.

When you open the door, before you actually go to step out, try reaching up and grab or thouch the body of the car as you slide out. That should keep you from getting that static shock. I get it all the time depending on what im wearing. My jacket with a fleece inside doest it the worse.

not in the least,
Its from when you slide out you build up static, I get it all the time when I slide out of my sol. Grab the frame when you get out somewhere and that should help you...

Its nothing major... just static.. when dry weather is gone, it will probably leave too... or you could static guard your seats and carpet
