fitment of 15x7 +35 on 91 crx, any rubbing?
im currently running some 15x7 +40 rotas on 205/50s on my crx dropped on stance coilovers. They came with the car and i prefer a slightly more flush fitment. im thinking about picking up some new wheels and am wondering if 15x7 +35 would rub at all if i run the same tire size (205/50s)? i like to keep the car pretty low with a slight tire tuck front on rear. thanks for any replies, im new to hondas and am not familiar with what normal flush fitment sizing is on these cars.
Assuming this is for street use, run 195/50-15 instead. It's the proper matching size for a CRX, it won't throw off the speedometer/odometer, it won't make your car accelerate slower, and it won't rub. 205/50-15 is too big.
if u get the +35 u will definately rub. i have +38 rotas and i rub when i make a really hard turn or when there is a dip on the road and the wheel goes inside the fender. im looking for +40 rotas now.
edit: if u have 205/50 it will rub, dont know about the 195 series

I know 195/50-15 won't rub if the wheels have the proper offset, but I'm not sure what the best offset is to avoid rubbing.
You would also be better off with 15x6 wheels than 15x7, which will make your tires look streeeeetched out on the rim.
