Default Not a main relay, what else could it be?

Car: 92 Civic Hatch

I replaced my main relay thinking that it was the problem to my car not starting but it isnt the case here.

Symptoms are: My car sometimes wont crank when i start it, it just sounds like it is having trouble turning over and sounds like its losing power.

I searched for similar symptoms and thought it was for sure the main relay since it is 99% of the time the problem.

but here it isnt. what else could it be?

My car is leaking radiator fluid because my radiator is cracked, could this be the problem? is my engine over heating and thats why it isnt starting?

my car also didnt start up one night and it was cold outside so i have no idea what the problem might be.

any and all help is appreciated.

do you hear the fuel pump priming?

edit: why do you think tis the main relay? If it was, the car would crank and try to turn over but your fuel pump won't prime.......... I'd say just try a battery from a car that you know is running fine and then go from there

what does it sound like if the fuel pump is priming?

I mean after a while (like couple minutes later) the car starts fine.

when you turn the key to accessories, you'll hear two clicks and a kind of hum coming from the back of your car, thats your fuel pump priming its for a couple of seconds and then it turns off... try turning your key to accessories and see if your any clicks or the 'humming'

coils intermittently fail at certain temperatures.

i'd look for a coil/igniter.

Definitely. My coil went out completely at random. Replaced it, fired right up. 60 bucks at autozone. On the shelf next to the gauges.

just go OEM on the coil. i've seen too many aftermarket coils take a ****. i'm sure a honda one can't be more than $70.00.
