the other day it rained really hard and i got in my car and i saw that water was leaking from the sun roof. So i opened the cover thing and a pool of water fell on me. What shold i replace or do to fix this problem. Is there a gasket i could replace or would replacing that rubber ring around the sunroof fix it?

I am assuming you have a Civic Si? The OEM sunroof is designed to leak, so replacing seals won't help. Your problem is most likely a clog in one or more of the four sunroof drainage tubes. The drain tubes can usually be cleared with a shot of compressed air.

sorry but what do you mean it is designed to leak? that doesn't make sense why would they design a sunroof to soak you while your driving and get your interior wet?

 

it's supposed to leak, but go thru the drain hole. if it gets clogged water backs up and that's when ur interior gets wet.

 

ah k gotcha, cuz mine is leaking like a siv, whoever sits in passenger seat after a rainfall, gets a nice shower
