Default Civic Coupe rim offset question...

I just bought a 1995 civic ex coupe. It has a set of chrome 17" rims and Im not a chrome man unless its crome LOL... well anyway here is the question...

What is the best offset to get for a civic coupe in a 17" rim?
The car has been lowered what looks to be about 1.5inch or so or about 2 1/2 fingers from the wheel to wheel well.

I'm looking for a good offset for handleing ... I know your going to say get 16's or something but I just want to use the tires that are already on the rims on the car and I also like the look of a 17" rim.

Thanks guys

So +45 would be good for handling on a 1.5 inch to 2 inch drop? Just want to make sure this is from a performance standpoint ... ^_^ I'm not to much into the show aspect of it..

thats offset you're gonna need so you don't rub. any lower (offset) and you'll have rubbing issues.

While were on offsets.........

Will a 15X7 w/ 205/50 on a 93 hatch have any issues?

And what would the offset be?

+40-+45 is pretty standard on hondas. hate to do it but, use the search button. this is really common info.

Yeah, no ****........and it turns back 200+ results.

I guess a simple " yes it's fine" is too much to ask.

I was trying to get around rolling fenders and such.
