high mile chassis?
well i'm looking at getting another car.
**** it sure is hard to find a good hatch that hasn't been molested.
Now I did find one that has around 207k on it,
body is really completely straight, never been hit/repaired,
which is what i'm looking for.
BUT the mileage is pretty damn high.
Just wanted to get your guys thoughts on the subject.
it'll probably be something i'm going to stick with for a long long time,
so I don't want any buyers remorse.
naturally i'm going to swap out or strip most things from the car.
But what about the chassis itself, and various other components that wouldn't get
swapped out(like suspension components, lines, etc).
What hidden wear and tear is there?

Re: high mile chassis? (Tad)
just look on the bottom for rust. rust will eventually tear a car apart. but if you are planning on swapping it, and the body is still straight, there should be no problem
