Question about 38 offset. Will it rub?
I have a 94 civic coupe. I'm thinking about getting some rota grids 15x6.5 w/ a 38 offset. I want the car dumped w/ the tires tucked. Will this rub? Does anyone have this on their setup? Thanks.

i had 16x7 with a 38 offset on my 94 civic coupe. It was lowered about 2" and it wasn't rubbing. If it's too low and it rubs just raise it a little.

Stick with a 195/50/15 and it wont rub.
I did the same thing with Falken Azenis 205/50 and it rubbed on the rear fenders.

I had 40 offset on 16x7 for my 95 civic and no rubbing. 44 offset is borderline for rubbing. you'll be ok with 38 offset.
now if it's slammed.... of course it'll rub. why you wanna slam it in the first place? you'll be scrapping a lot of **** man. just my .02

You should be fine. I ran 35 offset 17x7.5 wheels with 205/40/17 Yoko A520s before... Only rubbed at extremes on the left side when pulling a hard right. Just fender liner rubbing, no big deal. But I was H&R race lowered at the time.

Let's not mix 15, 16, 17 together. The offset requirements are all different.
15X7 at 35mm is not good when lowered. 15X6.5 at 38mm may be acceptable.
I run on 15X6.5 at 40mm lowered, without any problems in performance and looks.

Re: Question about 38 offset. Will it rub?
I have 15" C8s.. +38 offset.. with 205/50 712s..
I was rubbing, but I pressed in that metal lip in the front fender wall and all was good. The only time it rubs if when I do fast switchbacks.. otherwise I can take full locked u-turns with no rubbing.. strange. :\ Gonna end up rolling the fenders a bit anyways..
