Default Cel 21 .... Help please

Hi guys. My friend has a Jdm d15b engine in a Honda crx delsol. It is throwing a cel 21 ,vtec solenoid, but i already replaced the solenoid and vtec solenoid switch,I checked oil pan and strainer and checked also the oil pump relief valve.I ran a supply from the ecu to the solenoid and still the same but the solenoid is ok coz i gave it a 12v supply from the battery and i can hear the clicks.Cleaned the soleniod filters and removed and checked the rocker shaft and oil lines.I put an oil pressure gauge and it is reading 30psi at idle ,engine warmed up and at about 2000rpm the pressure is at 90psi and it goes up at 105psi and when vtec kicks the oil pressure stays the same.BTW when the engine hits about 5500- 5800 rpm the cel comes on at code 21.
Can somebody help me please?

did you reset the ecu after doing the work on the solenoid? unplug the battery for about 5 minutes and see what happens after you plug it back up and take it for a drive.

i know you ran it straight to the battery (not recommend it). i would have to say either it's a faulty solenoid, or there still is a broken wire that you are over looking.

is the solenoid brand new?

if i had to guess anything i would say it's probabaly the solenoid. for it to be low oil pressure you will need a leak. check gaskets (oil pan, head, etc), the type of oil filter, and ther oil pump. but if you were losing oil to the point vtec wouldn't work you will definatly had noticed it. double check the install of the solenoid, maybe you forgot to do something.

Thanks for all your help .Today I replaced the ecu and everything worked to normal. The cel is ok and the oil pressure too.The fault was that the ecu wasn't switching on the vtec and the oil pressure was rising coz of the solenoid but thanks to god and you as usual everything is back to normal. Thanks alot
