Default Coupe or Hatch fer this?

Wut up ya'll. this is my first post and i'm still suckin in all the info i can on hybrids. I'm savin up to build a hopefull beast soon and jus want some opinions. I want to put a b18c5 into either a 4th gen dx hatch or coupe. My question is, since the coupe weighs a lil more, how much is that gonna affect my performanc in the long run. I'm all about the performance, but i kinda like the appearance of the coupe over the hatch. Any help would be great, thanx!

What year civics are you refering to? The 4th gen is 88-91. A coupe was not available.
Im assuming you are talking about 92-95, which is 5th gen.
If you like the coupe, get the coupe. But just know that mod for mod, the hatch will always be faster(unless its an SI).

You should do a search. There were some really good threads on the 5th gen weights.

Edit: here is one https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=150315&page=1

why do u want an ITR motor over any of the others? just asking, let us know..

As for 5G coupe versus a hatch, check this out:

I prefer the 5G hatches though.. (little biased though)

high 8's for sure.. no problem..

oh, no? heh, just fkn with you.. This kinda question depends on so many things though, and it seems that you have alot to learn about.. Before jumping into anything or posting such general questions, look around on this board and other ones with tech posts.. If u want to go fast, you're gonna have to spend time and learn wtf is going on in your car.. The other is to just pay someone $40k and get a hybrid sent to your doorstep (call me if so).. Search the board for things that you don't know about and I CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH, read, read, read.. (not off-topic sh either)..
