Is it possible to convert an automatic transmition in a 2000 Civic Ex to a manual?
If there is a way what is the best way to do it? and how much would it cost? Any information would help. Thank You
Yes it is possible, but it would probably be better to just sell your car and get one that is manual.
fine a crashed 5spd at a salvage yard.. get all the interior trim pieces you need, dash, shifter boot console, pedal set. also get the transmission and shift linkage pieces plus the axles. oh and don't forget to find a mount that fits. most important.. get yourself a helms, Chilton's, or Honda bible..
edit; sorry forgot to mention the clutch cylinder, lines, booster, flywheel, ecu and clutch!

Great idea to do the engine swap at the same time.
Don't forget to get rid of the auto brake pedal too.
It will look pretty funny with a 5spd set up and a big automatic brake pedal.
my $ .02
