Hey. This just started about a 5 days ago. It just started smoking. It sucks. I took it to a dyno and figured out that at wot my car goes all the way lean. I leak coolent and oil
I know it sounds really bad. But since Im leaking those I dont know if this could be oil or coolent. Here is the video of my dyno run. If you have any idea what it is please tell me.

Did you actually build your ls/vtec before install, or was it just put together and installed?. If so then you might need new rings from the looks of it and you can say bye bye to your compression too, that does look heavy though, maybe on a rare occasion it's bad valve seals but in your case im definetly thinkin it's piston rings. Anyways, think of it this way, it's like a mini me, but with b series, anybody knows when you put the 1.6 vtec head on a ole d15 block it's gonna be a little faster but it's also gonna wear it out quicker, if the motor din't have any internal maintenence on it, like rings for example, so anyways alot of guys i see with head swaps, either be d series or a b series "ls/vtec" usually burn oil or there rings go out first, "unless they built" then it's fine and they turbo and all that other good **** after dumping a bunch of money into it.
^^ look at his sig,,the engine got new pistons,rings,seals,etc....
i was reading your thread and it said you used gelsvtec kit? does that mean you used the headgasket they gave you? if so i had people come to me with those bullshit kits..headgasket leaks for some reason i honestly dont know why,,but alot of people have problems with ge's headgasket.......from the video it defineatly looks like coolant....So im going to go with the headgasket.....my suggestion is take off the head and put on an oem ls headgasket,,sprayed with copper....
and i also read you're using a pr3 ecu ? that would explain why its running lean...you need to chip that ecu and tune it to compensate for the 1.8 litre ...

I should give you guys some back round info. I got the obd0-obd1 conversion harness from rywire and I got the ecu from phearable.net. But when I went to the dyno it was reading that when at wot it went all the way lean. So I used my friends chipped p28 with itr program, but he is also running chrome with a self tune. So I used his ecu and my car ran fine.
Im thinking its either the rings or the head gasket. Either way I would have to replace them. I replaced the piston rings but they might have gotten washed out for one reason or another. The head gasket might be the problem. My friend has a new ls head gasket that he has. I might just use that and dremel out the holes for the dowels a little to match the GE head gasket dowel holes. I am thinking also that my valve seals are gone. I was burning a little oil before when I had my b16 and I had low comp. in cylinder 2. When I got the lsvtec put together I still had a little lower compression on cylinder 2. So that valve seal might be gone. But I doubt it would make is smoke that much.

Ok, I just did a compression check and cyl. 1 is 160 2.170 3.160 4. 150
Not exactly a great thing to see the numbers all over the board like that. its funny because cylinder 2 is usually my problem piston and now it seems like its the best one. Im thinking its blown head gasket at this point
