how to take off shift knob

Default how to take off shift ****

sorry guys i know this has been asked before but i searched and nothing came up.. how do i take off the shift **** exactly. the nut on the shifter is like a locking nut or something and i cant seem to get it off. thanks guys sorry for the noob question but the skunk2 **** red stitched shift boot and comptech short shifter needs to go to its new home.

loosten the locking nut
and spin **** off

Yeah man, as long as you learn, who cares how long it takes to do stuff =P

It took me about 10x longer to remove my stock airbox the first time than it took to replace it after I pulled the pos injen out (waiting on fujita to come)

thanks guys for the support. the comptech short shifter w/ skunk 2 **** is like butter for your breakfast toast. definately 2 thumbs up.
