Default Shift *****..

I'm getting a short shifter and I'm kinda lost as to what the good brands are, and what ***** have good weights.. I see a skunk2 **** thats supposedly weighted nicely. I want a lot of throw reduction and nice weighting..

Tried searching on this, but the search service is down indefinitely for some reason..

I like the skunk2 combo. Dual bend and the weighted shift ****. The dual bend will place the shifter and **** closer to you so you don't have to reach as far to shift.
I used a dc short shifter for a while. I prefer the skunk2. The weighted **** is the best.

The only down side is the **** gets really hot during the summer and really cold during the winter.

Yeah my old aluminum shifter was like grabbing a branding iron, pretty much every day, here in vegas... Maybe someone makes a shift **** cover to put on it when parked! eh? eh!?!

Yeah I know but I'm one of those dumbasses whose totally obsessed with things that are MADE for it. Like OMG this cover doesnt work as good as my hat but its _made_ for it! how nifty!

I like my dual bend skunk2 w/ skunk2 ***. It's heavy and the feel is great sometimes when I can just flick my finger and it'll shift into gear for me.

I like the look of the Mugen ****, but I didn't realize weight can really affect performance and shift-ability. Anyone have more input on the weight thing?

When I went to the Spoon duracon shift ****, I could feel the gears engaging a little better (the **** ins't as heavy so it doesn't dampen the vibrations and all as well), but other than that, they have little to no effect on the actual shifting.

I've had a Skunk shift ****, mugen, leather razo that weighed like 400 grams, and now a plastic razo that weighs almost nothing. I like them all. The weight doesn't seem to make a significant difference in shiftiung ability, it's all just preference.

The 04 S2000/03 V6 6spd Accord ***** are weighted. I like the feel and it's pretty heavy.

The spoon duracon shift ***** don't get hot at all. Go with that if you're worried about it getting too hot.

I don't mean to steal the thread, but while we're on the subject, I have a question. Check out these links and tell me how you feel about their quality, contstruction, fitment, etc.
I like the long Mugen style **** better...I think. I'm shopping for a **** myself.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33703

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33703

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...42612

The top 2 I assume are the same, but one description gives a better pic. What are these made of? (I'm assuming metal, and I think they are all threaded for specific Honda/Acura) Give me some input! (NOT thread stealing...just going on a small tangent for a bit)

I don't like the light weight *****, I broke one off during a race going into 2nd, I had to hold the stick at the bend to finish the race! I won
If you have ever tried the skunk2 **** you would know a little more weight feels better.
