i was wondering if anyone knew the weight of the stock si wheels. i was just looking at some enkei rims i want and they r like 16 1/4 lbs. i was also wondering if this seemed really heavy for some 15" rims.

 

No idea on the stockers, I just got a set of VX rims, those bad boys weigh 6.5lbs....of course they are 13's...

 

Take your wheel off and take them to a shipping office and weight them. I think about 21 lbs with tire. Enkeis are nice but thats a little heavy for my liking cause now you can buy 17" rims that weight 12.5 lbs and are only 4500 bucks

 

only $4500?? i dunno about you, but i don't have 4500 to spend on wheels. I have some 15 x 6.5" rota circuit 8s that weigh about 12 lbs. I like them alot! especially at $125 a wheel. you can also get them in 16s for not much more. http://www.seriousauto.com is where i got mine. they're all miata stuff.

 

i was joking about those but i do know a guy who has them with his 25,000 dollar upgrades spent on his EF civic hatch. He got CRVTEC Turbo.

Yeah those wheels are nice but they got some really lite wheels out know amazing

 

12.8 w/ tires and whats sweet is your laptop most likely weighs more than your wheels heehhehehehe VROOOOOM!

Stock SI rim is around 18 lbs. With tires they are closer to 30.

 

actually the vx rims weighs 9lbs without tires. and even if the vx did weigh 6.5lbs in no way are you ever gonna find a tire that will weigh 6.3 lbs.
