Default Car Problem

I was cleaning my engine bay today and I decided not to cover anything up and just sprayed some engine degreaser down and then finally use a low pressure sprayer to rinse it off. Immediately after I decided not to let it dry and just simply drove off (big mistake). When I pulled out I heard this "wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub wub" noise. By the time I hit the first stop light the car died. I pushed it off onto a side road and eventually into a parking lot. I pulled the plug wires and saw a little bit of water, maybe a few drops in cyl #4. I have a feeling I got water in the dist cap.

Im going to go drive over there in a few hours and checkit. Maybe a wire got wet? maybe a fuse blew in addition to the water in the dist or spark plug hole? There was a push button starter installed on the car bypassing the regular "crank to start it" and I have been having probs with that, so Im going to replace the button in the meantime to get it home.

When I try to start it, it clicks twice but doesnt turn over.

Any other suggestions?

Problem solved...there obviously was water in the distributor. I opened the cap and saw some gunk on the bottom and wiped off the window that makes contact with the spark plug wires. I repalced the momentary button and stuck the key in and pressed it...it STARTED to turn over...then BANG...fired right up. I got it home and turned it off after letting it idle for 5 mins...tried to start it again...no luck...so I kept at it, then it eventually fired up. Turned it off, and tried again...BANG. It starts perfectly now.

Haaha That happend to me before on my prelude! I was at a car wash and i sprayed my engine bay all the way across the city then my car would not start.
I have 3 friends with me so they helped me push it to a shop, they tried to say that my distributor was blown and it would cost melike 400. I **** on that and said take the plugs out and dry them. couple hours later the car started and the ******* charged me 40bucks never again!

yeah, it deffinetly sucks. The car seems to run fine now just like it did...I guess the plugs were a little wet along with the distributor...either way, it runs fine for now...
