Icon3 having issues

so i washed my car today and my engine and now my car is missing. i thought i might have got some water on the plugs so i pulled the wires and tried to dry them out put them back on and now my car wont start. please help im supposed to be taking a trip to nashville in the morning!!

sounds maybe like it hydro locked. take your plugs out "all of them" and turn the key over like your going to start it and see if any water comes out.

Could be water in the cap, take it off and blow it out. If no compressed air stick a blow dryer in there.

i looked down in the valve cover there is water in there. but im about to go get a plug wrench so i can pull the plugs. just do me a favor and stay online for about 30 more mins. so i can get this done please.

You think he stuck the hose into the spark plug hole and filled it up? Thats not even good advice, I would pull the cap on the dizzy and clean it out, and plugs for the dizzy.

what the **** are you talking about? he washed his engine bay and he even said he had water in the spark plug tubes. its possible water got in and i didnt say anything about him oilling it up. I told him it was possible and he should check......

Get the water out of the tubes before you pull the plugs. otherwise you'll be worse than you started.

And +1 on drying out the dizzy cap.

dude you guys are some geniuses it worked like a charm but i had water in my valve cover and my cap and i used a blow dryer but thanks for real i would have never thought of how to handle that problem

fyi my plug wires fit loose around the plug holes in the valve cover. and it did have water in there. but there was also water in the cap i just pulled the plugs turned the key a few times, pulled the cap hit it all with a blow dryer and it worked like a charm. now im packed up and ready to go. thanks 2 DCAR and GIZZ - EXV

you might want to get those wires replaced. if you have water in there that can end up causing a bigger issue. Also replaced the cap seal. Electricity and water dont mix at all
