Default need help.. rebuilt motor smoking!!

hey i need some help from you guys in here.. i tried to get some replies in the integra forums but they didnt help much...

00 gsr, reringed, bearings and valve seals done 3000 miles ago

it was rebuilt because it consumed way to much oil and smoked horribly bad

throwing code 45 now

compression was 240-230-230-240 and seems to smoke really bad around corners or up/down hills more then anything

still havent had a chance to do a leakdown test, but my theory is that its the valve seals .. i know some people accidently rip them during install

car still has good power and everything just smokes really bad at times

So are you turboe'd or not? If you are check for oil in your exhuast housing. When does it smoke? I just redid my vavle seals on the intake side because it was smoking. Don't know if i fixed it or not, had to do a wheel bearing too, haven't been driving it too much. But when i shut off my car i get oil into my exhuast housing so it always smokes some. Also, whats your pcv setup, if your stock, then check that out just to make sure it functioning, and replace the PCV valve, its only 5 bucks. Only other thing i can think of is you didn't align the rings right, or they moved around.

May be a silly answer, but its not over filled with oil is it? Or blocked breather etc. Those compression numbers seem good

Whats a leak down test tell you if you have good compression? It can't check the valve seals right? Just wondering...

motor is currently not boosted, but plan on boosting it in the future, i posted here because it seems the people in here have the most knowledge and its the only forum i go to on honda-tech....

would it seem logical that its the valve seals because its worse around corners, up down hills etc??

If it was valve stem oil seals you would notice smoke immediately on cold startup & on decelleration.Never known of smoking because of going round corners or downhill due to bad Vstem oil seals
Hard cornering smoking is usually caused by overfilling of oil,I have had personal experience of this

i have no idea what it could be, but it def smokes horribly around corners, the oil is actually a little low on it right now so i know its not overfilled
