burning oil bad

Default burning oil bad

okay well i changed my rings because they were bad but i still burn oil really bad and my car boggs with real bad power loss and when i come to a stop it wants to stall most the time it does can some one please help me with this i need the car for the week...

do a compression test. maybe you installed the rings wrong and your loosing compression. that or the timing is off.

and maybe ur rings weren't the problem of why it was burning oil. maybe your valve guide seals are bad.

how many quarts is it burning?
were the rings installed properly? are the valve seals gone?
is it leaking anything?

well oil comes out the tail pipe, no i am not leaking other then that, and the rings are installed correctly...i am sure its the valve seals...btw valve seals and seat they are the same right????
