since i bought the car i noticed when i hear other honda cars start they sound strong as hell, but when i hear mine it sounds kinda weak and once the car starts i can still hear the starter still spinning for a couple of seconds then its stops (the noise). do i have a weak starter?? also i am confused about the timing, on the crank pulley i see four marks on it. i dont know where to put the mark at; there at three marks that close to each other and one is a little bit farther of the group? thanks in advance.

 

Change the starter, have done many many of them.

Pull #1 spark plug, put a long screwdriver down in there and rotate the crank pulley bolt by hand with a breaker bar until the #1 piston is at top dead center on the compression stroke, that will be the zero degree mark on the pulley, get a friend to help hold the screwdriver and feel for TDC.
