if you are comparing between the 96-00 civic to a del sol, i would have to say the 96-00 civic CX would be the lightest, because del sol has the targa top...with all the reinforcement, the vehicle is alot heavier.

I was joking. I have always wanted a del-sol. Those were the **** back in the day! imo 
first off the EK is the HATCH, and the EJ is the coupe. I myself, have a coupe despite my name

and my EJ never was defeated by a del-sol, never. del-sol is not the best chasis to start with for a 1/4 mile car, maybe try a crx or 89 civic hatch for the best/lightest drag car. what do i know tho
