I'm picking up a complete pair of 2000 Civic Si doors, harnesses and all. I have a 97 Civic CX. Is my car prewired for these doors, ie, will the si door harness plug right into my car?
If not, what modifications need to be done? I'm not going to have power mirrors, just windows and locks.

I know its not plug and play, but you can pull the nessisary wires from the doner car and rewire yours. wish I knew more, but I've known some people who've done the converstion, and its a weekend job.

ditto. it will be easier if you had 96-98, to match your model...but with the 99-00 a couple of things has changed example...the door lock brain is on the inside dash instead of in the door itself...so if you re-wire serveral things you will be fine...

He' right though.. this has been covered over and over..
the best route is getting 96-98 parts its completely plug and play that way, otherwise you'll have to hard wire everything which could be difficult/messy

I ususally try to search, but I've actually been having trouble finding stuff lately. Like, I'll search for a thead that I've seen before, and nothing will come up, but I'll scan back throught the pages, and bam, there it is.
u could ghetto rig the wires. as long as u have the power door harness wires. thats what i did with my hatch. it took about 2 hours to install the power windows ~_~ mainly because we was havin trouble with all the wires.
