Default speedometer doesn't work. fuse blown

I think something shorted from a big puddle splashing up under my car. The "EAT ECU (TCM), ECU (ECM), Cruise Control" is blown, and I replaced it and it blew again. The speedometer doesn't work, and the battery light is on constantly as well as the parking break light in the dash. Any quick suggestions? I'm out of town and I need to fix this as quickly and cheaply as possible. Please help!

Edit: When I did a search, I found a very similar problem, but it wasn't related to water. I'm hoping that maybe the fact that it happened after splashing through a giant puddle might be a clue to where the problem is. Basically something must be shorted somewhere I think.
