Default blinker problem

car: 1992 civic HB
engine: 97 ls i think

Problem: for some reason the blinkers dont work. I am going to check the fuse today and see if its blown but i dont think that it is cause my borther took apart the whole dash to see if a wire was shorting or something. but never found anything. (WHERE IS THE BLINKER FUSE LOCATED IF THERE IS ONE) His hazards work. The rpm's, speedo, fuel, temp gauge also dont work. the high beam light works. The tac lights up most of the time but sometimes it doesnt come on. Is there a way i can use the hazard button in some way as a blinker so i dont get pulled over.??? What else should i check??

any help is appreciated alot!! Brother left for the marines and trying to get it fixed for him!

So he took apart his entire dash because his blinkers weren't working? I can only imagine that he checked the fuses first if he had the mechanical ability to take the dash out of the car.

Good luck.

Is the switch at the base of the blinker stalk broken? Have you checked the bulbs?

try checking the ones that aren't working... it'd be pretty rare for all 4 of them to be out at the same time, but it could happen. tried checking the turn signal flasher?
