ok here is the problem my car is a 92 civic with a 94 wire harnes the car will not pop vtec i even tried hooking V to a switch and still nothing what can be wrong its a b20vtec motor

 

Do you have a VTEC ecu? Do you have oil? Is the silenoid clogged? Do you have a light hooked up to tell you its on?

Anything could be wrong you tell us.

 

do you have it WIRED. are you throwing any CELs

 

yes the computer is vtec and there is enought oil and for the vtec selenoid i put i new one and yes its throwing cel code 14 iac but beside when you put vtec to a swith it should pop no matter what

I never heard of VTEC popping. I heard of VTEC engaging. Fix your codes then troubleshoot your VTEC...

 

then i guess you never had a vtec motor right when vtec engages it makes a popping noise like sound your just trying to be funny but ended up being stupid me my self have never herd a generic say i heard my vtec engage i always here when vtec cracks or pops but engage lol easy there pal lol generic expletive

Did you fix your codes you non period using tard? You just used the most common term in your rebuttle ***-clown. I made it bold so you can see it, maybe you need your period button shown to you too.

luserkid can fix your problem...or me...your vtec must not be wired

 

i had the smae problem on my homies b20vtec. fix the iac problem. he was throwing a iac code and vtec wasnt working. so i just wired it straight to the ecu, pin a9. that fixed the problem. its the blue wire. just check the yellow/black and see if theres power to it

dude my vtak! just popped and cracked at 5200 rpms and my tires started to spin in fourth... sweet!
