Did you check your timing? If you bent valves the car would run rough and probably not start if you bent more then one, the only real way to tell is to do a leak down test.

well the car never turned on... I drove it, parked it, it snowed for 4 days tried to start it and its been doing what it's doing in the vid ever since... people told me what prob happen is the timing belt is broke (which I just took the valve cover off and it is broken... looks cut rather than torn... but anyways they siad that since the engine was prob still frozen, and when I tried to crank it, one of the gears moved and not the other which caused the timing belt to break... which I guess would mean my valves should be fine? right? I bought a new timing belt today just incase it was broken or just to replace it... whats the chances of the valves being bent? since the car didn't star or turn over when I cranked it?

i'm not sure if i understand you fully, but if one cam not moving is why your belt broke then something else is wrong, bent valves or broken cam. your car won't turn over normally without a timing belt since the only thing moving is your crank. when it comes to broken timing belts either you're fuct w/ bent valves or you're fine and just need a new belt.

Well i think ide rather have bent vavles than broken ones lol. But your probably going to have to pull the head to make sure. So what exzactly happened when you drove it home?

nothing thats the thing, it drove perfect, never drove like it did that night before... than when I parked it locked the car up went inside didn't start it for like 4 or 5 days cuz it snowed and can't really drive a slammed prelude in the snow.... so it was still really cold outside, but I went outside tried to start it, and it just did what the vid shows

I wonder if you got the belt wet *if it was dry rotting(sp?)* and it froze causing the water to expand and snap the belt... could be a possiblity.

how cold is it? if you dont have a proper mixture in you coolant system your coolant could have frozen. freexing the water pump. i would wait untill it goes abouve freezing and try again. if it starts then you need to change your coolant/water mixture. if not then check the battery and make sure it has water in it and it is at proper level. if all of these things are with out a problem then i would pull the spark plugs and try to crank it woth out them in. if it cranks then make sure you dont have any water or ice in the cylinder system. if you drove a slamed prelude in the snow with a cold air intake then you might have sucked up some water into your engine or froze your air filter and the car cannot suck up air becaust the cold air system is blocked. check these things first before you start tearing down your engine. i sounds like the engine is sufficating and maybe you cannot get any air in. if all of these things are fine then check your timing. process of elimination

you'll need this, Moroso crank pulley holding tool. Works on B-series, H-series, and F-series motors

I misplaced mine. Can someone buy me a new one? Thanks
