will f22a1 head bolt up to sohc f22b1 block?
hey guys I was wondering if a f22a1 head will bolt up to a 94 accord f22b1 block with no modifications and also is this block still 8.8 compression with iron sleeves ? Thanks in advance

im no pirate, but the f22a1 head will bolt up just fine, no mods nessesary. same head studs will work also. A h23 head would work just as well too.
since when did pirate become the resident guru
edit: don't forget to put in place the oil control oriface since you won't be using a vtec head anymore!

One more question so I'm usins the f22a1 one head on the f22b2 block do I use a f22a1 headgasket or f22b2 head gasket ?

I am gonna guess you are gonna want to use the gasket for the A1 head. Seems to be the most likely choice to me.

I am tellin ya man try and find yourself an H23 head. This is the same build I am gonna be doing very soon. The H23a head is 100x better than the F22a1 head. Larger Intake manifold, larger throttle body, DOHC. And it is practically a direct bolt on. It don't get much easier.
