I'll up your random link by one: http://www.badgerbadgerbadger.com

For the OP, take pair of wire cutters like this

and grab and pull. Should come right off. Question, how is the cotterpins rusting? *shrugs*

Oh so it's stuck inside of the actual threaded part of the ball joint?

Spray it down with some penetrating lube, let it sit, and try to find a small punch that will fit in it and tap lightly.

If that doesn't work then http://www.barancoacuraparts.com and order a 51220-S04-003.

these never fail....they also come in larger sizes for more leverage/different sized cotter pins:

craftsman will most likely have their version of this tool if you're closer to a Sears.

we use something simular to this in the USAF on aircraft. I'm sure it will work for your tie rod.

I've got like 4 of those in my toolbox, don't know where I got them from or what they are meant for. I use them to take off the little clips on the manual window crank when I have to remove my door panels.

worst case, if it gets REALLY chewed, or it's NOT budging, you can take some cutters and clip it as close as possible to the threads on the ball joint/tie rod end, and use a small pin punch and just hit it out with a hammer.
