Idiot, if u cant help then dont post.

Some people do it the ghetto way and just fill up the moulding indentation with bondo. That will end up craking eventually. The best way is probably cutting sheet metal to the shape of the moulding indentation and welding it on.

Yes, this is the best way IMO to do it. You can get it to match the rest of the door perfectly. And another thing, like Ruka already said; if you don't have helpful to say, don't post. Thanks.

Dont completely weld the sheet metal you will warp your doors with the intense heat. Just tack it every other inch or so and bondo it, Be sure to use sealer after that bondo.

IMHO I would say to at least fill half with some sort of sheet metal so that the WHOLE thing isn't Bondo. The least amount of bondo the better. I shaved mine and tacked in metal so that all I had was enough bondo to match the contour of the door and not warp anything up. It's been like that for 3 years now and I haven't had any problems.

which shave do you want? Is it the CX and VX style or is it the ricer style? I think the CX and VX style looks way better than the ricer style.

no you push the sheet into the indention, and build it up.

dont shave them on your EF, it wont match the trim in the bumpers

I wouldn't shave personally. MAybe fill in the holes left by the clips by welding a penny from the back, or get your side moldings paint matched. I think it looks pretty cool like that.

Painted side moldings = FTW. I've never been a fan of the shaved look. To each their own though.
