i know for sure that a better header would benefit your motor a lot. don't know if that is the problem though. maybe you feul pump.

i beleive its the cams buddy club cams are known for making great mid range not for top end they ususally die out around 8000-8500 rpms ur motor is probably maxed out if it was tuned properly, and if anything do a compression test also.

Im not familiar with the BC 4 cams, but in comparison to my old JUN3 setup, which was good for top end peak power, I can tell you this(assuming your motor is running properly and has no problems). Your torque is definitely going to fall off, but your HP shouldnt fall as much on these motors.

what is an "ITR Receiver and custom intake"? If by this you mean the stock ITR airbox, I would suggest something else as that is probably restricting your top end. On my old JUN3 setup, I put my stock intake back on for the hell of it one day and the car felt like it fell on its face, which appears to be the case with your car as well. I do not have any dyno comparison to prove it though so take it for what its worth.

A better header may help some as well. Otherwise I dont see much problem with the setup, except I would ditch the MSD ignition as the stock ignition is sufficient. Maybe it just needs more tuning time as well.

you will be surprised how much more horespower you will get off of a better header. the header is your most important bolt on and will yeild the most HP.

All that Power and pushing the Motor all the way to 9,000 RPM and you're still running an OEM ITR Header? You're power is probably falling off due to the exhaust gases not having anywhere to go, trust me, try looking for something with better flow - Or at the very least get the header polished out.. seems odd to me you'd get the entire Type-R head ported and polished and leave out the header.
As stated before, it's probably the most important bolt on.
