ok have been doing this swap since saturday and the car started up today and ran for about 20 min. was driving it fine then went home turned off the car and went inside. came out 15-20 min later and tried to start it agian and the fuel pump would not prime and i think im getting no spark.

could it be an ecu problem or is it my main relay that has gone bad?,.... need answers asap have to get to work in the mourning and have no ride. anything will be nice thanks

 

Does it crank? starter good?

Check to see if you have spark(pull one of the spark plug wire out and put a spark plug in (place it on top of the engine with the body of the spark plug touching ground) and have a friend start the car and you check for spark). If you don't, check your distributor (especially the igniter).

 

could be your dizzy happend to me about a week ago and it was my dizzy

 

yea im going to have to check spark but im pretty surre its sparking b/c it started up and was running fine... just no fuel pump priming.

 

anyone?
