Default question about bleeding brakes/ebrake

i had a guy bleed my brakes, because we replaced the back shoes/drums. he left the ebrake on whilst he did this. my ebrake BARELY works now. well, i cant say now, because i bought the car before it was even running and we got it running, did the brakes and it doesnt work. 93 2door ex 5speed.. could this have anything to do with my ebrake not working?

he didn't adjust it.

go back and tell him to adjust it. The parking brake should be engaged with 3-5clicks

yeah, e brake off, the shoes should be just about to touch the drums. Spin the drums and they should spin about 1 revolution before slowing to a hault...

oh, and this will make brake pedal feel MUCH better

allright so i just gotta re-bleed the brakes then right? it might explain why it kinda feels weird when i push the brakes down...i gotta push more than halfway just to start slowing down. and to bleed the brakes its..person a pumps brakes then holds brake, person b opens valve, then closes it? or is it person b opens valve, person a pumps then holds, person b closes, person a lets go? i was pumping so i had no idea what he was doing.

take off the drum, and spin the star nut to push the shoes out...put the drum on until there is VERY slight drag
