will any other d-series head work on a d17a2
i think the d17 has 125hp?
would it be worth the trouble

^Hes right. Won't work, even if it did I dout it would be worth the effort. From what I have seen, the only decent performance gains on this motor come from forced induction.

Why would you want to do that? The D17a2 is already a v-tec head.

They make the same power (127bhp). I wouldn't know if the y8/z6 heads flow better than the D17 heads, but considering they make the same power, you can assume the differences are minimal.

Just stick with the head you have.
