Default Picking a spring

EDIT: ^ that should say picking a spring.

Ok, so I've seen A million different points of view on lowering shocks. I'll be keeping stock shocks for half a year of so, but I want to lower the beast first. My old car was lowered but on which spring I don't know. I'm sure it didnt have struts to accompany them. All I want is my Ek bumper about 5" off the ground. That was easy to DD for me. What springs?

Yeah, shocks will have to wait. I want to lower it and put rotas on it first. I'll add the shocks in a few months.
