IDing gsr tranny

how can you tell identify a gsr tranny, is there any certain stamps to look for?

Other than running the VIN off of it, I'd be weary of receiving an LS trans as a 'mistake'.. The hydro S80/Y80 can be off an ITR, GSR, or LS, I know of no absolute way to differentiate them.. anyone?
