Default i cant get my 60fts below 2.0. what else can i try?

ok so im running bfg radials 205/50/15 at 10psi. ill do a 3-5 second burnout off the limiter in 2nd gear to get them hot. now i usually launch at 5k, but ive tried anything from 4500 to 5500 and i still cant break 2.0. i know the tires are capable i have friends cutting 1.8's with them. anything i should try differently??

oh yea, motor is a 81mm lsvtec making around 325whp. more info in my sig

How are u doing off the line? Is it bogging? Does it spin? Are you preloading your clutch when u launch?

What do you have for traction devices?

Urathane mounts, traction bars? What suspension are you running ?

kyb agx's with h&r race springs. i also have hasport mounts.

its not bogging off the line. ill either get a very very very small amount of hop, maybe skip like 2x then take off, or ill sit at 5k for a very brief second after i disengage the clutch and take off.

i dont use my ebrake, but i do preload, by the 2nd yellow ive got my left foot up and the clutch almost out

My vote is your launching it too hard. Your spinning.. launch it a little lower and ease it out off the line. Drag radials work good but their no slicks.. I've ran 2.07, 60' on a 185 75 13 goodyear integrity in my eg. It was about a 3500 - 4000 launch but I rode the clutch on the verg up spinning untill the car caught up with the motor.. Stock everything except for the boost...

Every track, car, and setup is different. Because someone got 1.9's on stock aquatreads doesn't mean you'll pull close to that on DR's. Many people are lucky to hit 1.9's on DR's and 2.0's are pretty respectable.

If your getting wheelhop, make sure you have mount inserts at the very least. With 325whp you would have alot more fun and better results with a small slick.
