Default When preloading...

Is everyone preloading and then riding out the clutch or just letting it go? I can preload quick and with ease but I can't remember if I used to just let it out quickly or still ride it. Reason I ask is I keep grinding or getting locked out of 2nd gear after a preloaded launch, I don't know whether I should look into a new master or slave (both look fine and don't leak but are old) or maybe riding out the clutch it doesn't give it enough time to grab when I kick the clutch to shift to 2nd gear. There's no clutch burning smell or anything when riding it out Exedy Stage 2 3 puck but 2nd just wants to be a bitch. Other thing I thought of is that the motor is moving around too much with the street inserts on the HASPORT mounts and making the actual shift location not in the right location. Just a power on from 1st to 2nd it goes fine but preloading it won't. Oh and I tried adjusting the rod for the pedal already and the clutch is pretty high up. I can try going more to see what happens, I just don't want to have it where there is tension on the clutch at all times without me pushing the pedal.

If it doesn't rain tonight I am going to test it out on a back road :p Just practicing my 1-2 and see what happens. On the street I suspect a lot of wheel spin even with a 4000RPM launch. I've been meaning to get the race inserts for the HASPORT's, it's not a dedicated track car so the solid would be pretty crazy lol.
