noobie question

Default noobie question

hey sup h-t im new to the honda scene. I looked at this site hundreds of times for help and info. I have a Eg hatch with a jdm b16a and i/h/e. I was driving and all of a sudden my check engine light comes on, my vtec stops working and my speedometer starts jumpin up and down like crazy. I wished mine guages with a friends and same **** happened again..someone help plz!!!

...what code is the check engine light giving you? This isn't rocket science, dumbass: just pull the code and fix the problem. We can't magically tell you what's going on if you keep this kind of information to yourself

check the distributer you might have a loose wire or replace the coil and the ignition module... that should fix it,,,also before you do all that read the code..if anything else just instant message me..

ohhh yeah check also the ecu ground wires by the thermo switch area and make sure is properly grounded..

This is why I'm scared of swapps.

It just adds som many more things to go wrong when things do go wrong.
