That looks like coolant and oil. Headgasket IMHO. How many miles? Have you ever changed it? If not I would do some routine maintenance. Headgasket, timing belt, water pump etc.

Check your coolant and engine oil dipstick and see if the two have the same fluid in them.

Could it be leaking from the bottom of the water neck on the front left side of the head?

It's pretty unusual for a head gasket to leak externally like that without leaking internally as well. It's possible yes, but I would definately check the more likely stuff first before I assume it's a HG.

I thought that too but it would be all green and it seems to be oil mixed and the block looks clean.

That's disgusting. Enjoy changing that head-gasket and make sure you check for flatness of the deck surfaces before you throw it back together, as one of the only reasons you'd get that kind of mixture coming out of the engine is if there was a crack or severe warping in one or the other pieces (head or block).

hmm so it is the headgasket? i haven't noticed any problems. runs fine and everything. if it isn't the headgasket, what else could it be? this is the only place i have noticed the leaking also. i just don't have the time to change the headgasket right now with school and work so i'd like to know for sure if it is or not. thanks guys

also, wouldn't a blown headgasket throw a code? i am not throwing any codes at all either. the motor runs fine, just this leaking.

Could be a waterneck leak but it is most likely a bad head gasget... Both probably need to be replaced since that single cam looks like it still has the factory gaskets that were new in the early to mid 90's...
