loosing water

Default loosing water

every 4-5 days of driving i have to put probable 30 ounces of water in my car. I cant find any leaks. doesnt smoke. no water in the oil. im puzzled help me

you wont be able to see if its leaking unless you pull the hard off.

haha dude same thing happened to me. Your head gasket is blown and needs to be replaced asap. If not your car will overheat and mess up your block. Headgasket is cheap. the expensive part is installation but if you have mechanical skills is can easily be done by yourself. Hint, check you oil and see if it looks deluted.

you mean mess up your head right? </TD></TR></TABLE> well im pretty sure head was damaged by my piston where nearly welded to the block and block got a hairline crack for overheating then getting water on the hot block. by the way people dont ever wash your engine after driving cause it might crack your block.

well i can do the head gasket myself. Ive done them 6 times before with all my previous set ups. Its just that its never done anything like this before which was blowing my mind. I dont see it smoke are anything. I get a little puff of sumtin when i rev it up and let off the gas but thats all i see. It save up for a head gasket though. Btw does anyone know where i can get a knock sensor for cheap? Every place ive heard wants nearly a hundred dollars. thanks.

look into your radiator cap and see if theres any oil in there. or do a compression test and see if you see bubbles in the radiator with the cap off.
