Car won't start
Hey guy's
Ok, so my car start's or doesn't start; I have a serious case of gremlins.
When leaving work my car wouldn't start,I got the classic "Ree ree ree ree ree"but
nothing, I went home and came back to take a look at it. In a wild hope of it starting, it did! On the first attempt, just like normal. When I got it home, it started normally a bunch of times after that for 2 day's, then it failed. I used a screwdriver and did a spark test and didn't get a spark. I then put back the wires the the appropriate plug's and it worked.
To my understanding, the coil in my distributor has to be either broken or functional, I never believed it could come back to life after failing. So that lead's me to believe it's not that. Some have said it's my ignitor aswell. Also it's a new car and came with a Viper alarm, I can't seem to locate a hoodpin for the alarm. Could there be a faulty relay that's not allowing me to start my car? Or could it be some problem I'm totally ignoring. Or perhaps it's the distributor somehow.

-distributor cap
-fuses
-grounds
-battery connections
-wires
-fuel pump
-fuel lines
-vacum lines
(more to name, but you get the idea)
If anyone can let me know what's up it would be very much appreciated.
I start class on monday next week and my ride can't fail on campus.
It's a 94 Integra Rs.
Thank's a lot in advance.

Sounds like your typical Honda distributor going out.
There are two internal parts, ignitor and coil. Either of these two can go out at anytime, and also work when it wants to.

So I havn't changed anything yet, but my budy boosted my car when i tried to start it cuz my starter was beginning to lag from no charge.. so we boosted it and started as normal.. had the battery tested and it wasn't holding enough to start the car. I think it's a fairly old battery, and it's been going on for like 2 week's so i dont think my alternator would have lasted this long. Any suggestions?
Is it just the battery you guys think.
p.s. I also noticed the range of my remote alarm has lost a significant amount of reach, so I'm think it's just a **** battery.

if it turns (starter works) then its NOT the battery.
Keep an eye on the check engine light. WHen you turn the key to ON it should come on for 1-3 seconds then turn off.
IF THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN, replace the main relay.
This sounds like a main relay failure, and thats an easy way to tell.

Im at work the cars at home, but I'm almost certain the check engine light comes on. The battery isnt holding it's charge, it read some low *** cranked amperage. So what would be wrong with my main relay?
i know that the lock cylinders in the door handles on my 98 integra have some kind of position sensor and if you like take out the handles the car will crank but not start its some type of anti-theft device. look for blinking green key in cluster. some times they'll start the first time you take them out but when system realizes it will let you crank but wont start. lot of acura cars have these handle set ups. im painting my teg and took out handles, went to move it and it cranked but wouldnt start. handles were the couse but look for the key, if there is no key this is not your problem.
