Default Got pulled over 2x on my way over

Oh did I tell you guys? i got pulled twice on my way over? i was speeding 83 in oklahoma somewhere in a 70mph zone. but he dropped it to 79 so its only 9 miles over the speed limit. $69 fine.

Then i got pulled right about the Ohio/pennsylvania border by a state cop. also speeding 80ish but he asks to check my vin. i block it with a business card. so I show him and then he asks to see my driver side door. and low and behold the vins dont match. I was suspecting something cause carfax didnt show anything but the door sticks and there is a slight dent where the metal meets the sideskirt.

So i telll the state trooper this and he asks me to sit in the back of his patrol car as he checks this out. he has a difficult time opening my hood to check the vin on the firewall, so he lets me back out to help him open it. I have some anti theft devices to prevnet people from opening my hood. he looks around. gets in his car and calls in the two vins. he checks the vin with my registration and we have a little chat about how these cars are stolen a lot and what not and then lets me off with a warning to slow down.

So I learned taht my door is from a 97 integra LS.

ok, this doesn't exactly belong here....but why wouldn't you check the vins when you bought the car?

and your speeding tickets are cheap as expletive. 9 over in my town is a $170 fine.

lucky bass...
I got pulled over going 70 on a 45
but traffic is always going @70 or over.
come to find out my license was supended in another county, then I cant find my registration and insurance card.
so I get slaped with
speeding 60 on a 45 ( to cops convinience and mine)
driving with suspended license
driving with out insurance.

cop let me go by not
impounding my car
or
putting me in jail for the day driving with suspended license

at the end I paid $500 in fines just like that.

sort of. I jsut meant to check your vin numbers. But how was I to know that the door was not matching? im nto gonna check every vin number. I checked carfax and of course many of us fix our own cars so what ever damage is done is kept off carfax.

do you get any points for driving w/ a suspended licence? or driving without registration or insurance?

while its good that he's checking to see if cars are stolen, etc. shouldn't you have learned the first time u got pulled over not to speed?
