help quick fuel pump b16 question

Default help quick fuel pump b16 question

i have an 89 crx dx and im in the process of swapping an obd0 b16 in and i wanted to know what the best oem fuel pump i could use with the swap. My dx pump wont hold up for long and if anyone can help me out it would be appreciated.

just spend the $50 and get a walbro 195 lph. High quality and works great...

i will get a walbro one later but i can get any oem one for free and i kinda need it today so what would be a good temporary oem one to use.

88-91 Si pump, I didn't think they were any different than the dx but i could be wrong, is yours going bad or do you just thing it won't last bcause someone told you that?

Actually it's been tested that the Si pump doesn't work very well for the b-series swaps, especially the vtec ones. They say it leans out in the higher rpms...

del slow vtec one it is..thanks for the help. BTW where can i get a walbro one for $50 and what flow should i get (per gallon).

Hmmm, I've run the oem for at least a yr with a b16 with no problems with so ever. My A/F is pretty flat all the way.

If your set-up is less than 250 hp I would stay with the stock pump. I had a walbro 255 lph and that think was loud but it work great.

No problem, I really wouldn't take the chance with the stock unit. Get the del sol one for now and then you can get the walbro fuel pumps on ebay. Don't worry they are an autorized dealer and that's where I got mine.

incorrect i made 273 whp on a stock pump, they are fine to 350whp.

If you upgrade your pump to a walblow u need a fpr or you car will be insane rich. Just get any stock one if you wanna go cheep.

And a walblow 255hp is good to ~600 with stock lines
