Main Relays (SEARCHED) Interchangable ??
I have a f22a prelude 92 manual. Does anyone know the part number off their main relay so I can check to see what is compatible. I am going to be trying several honda main relays and see what is a hit or miss. Anyone with added input feel free to post.
I have a 92 Si with an H23. I don't know the part number but I can tell you that I recently replaced the main relay with one from a 92 DX hatch...don't know that part number either, but it works great!
To end this topic quickly:
OBD1 main relays on all OBD1 cars.
anything else I have not tried. Save your money. Go to a junkyard. Check the solder on it before you install it though. And you do not need to remove your guage cluster or unscrew the 10mm bolt that holds it in. Just press a flathead in between the pastic and metal till it clicks. Or breaks if your too rough. Then slide it up and off. It also helps if you bend the metal holder to one side for easy access.
hope it helps

I bought one from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/home.htm for $40. And now I have the piece of mind that it should last a while.
or you can just solder yours teh first time and avoid the hassle of trying to track one down if you dont have to. ive done it once and saved me a TON of aggrivation
