i currently have some Tokico Illuminas with skunk 2 coilovers...

My 1990 Civic Si isn't really dropped... I'm looking to drop it atleast to where the front tire is barely tucking without having a bouncy ride. How it sit's at the moment its barley bouncy and i'm afraid it will get even more bouncy when i drop it. what do i do to prevent that from happening?

How it currently sits...

What setting do you have your shocks on? You may need to stiffen them up to better match the spring rates on those skunk2 coils.

In that case, try softening them up, if you haven't had a chance to play around with the different settings to see which one works the best.

Nice car.....mine is black too. Yeah, I have the Illuminas and the best setting I found was 3. I originally bought the Illuminas with the tokico springs and they were really stiff for my ride. Now I am riding them with H&R Sport Springs, the ride is a little better but I do have have a squek from the front right suspension and every bump or pot holes is felt throughout the car. I am thinking of going with Teinn SS for my suspension when I get enough funds.

i dont think that is the problem, i think it started from making the car lower. Just go out and play with the settings on the shocks and see were it feels best for you, its not that hard, just grab a flat head srewdriver
