another starting prob(clicking)
Done some searching and reading thru some other thread got some info from that but not quite what I was looking for.
My 91 integra has had a lot of problems lately so I've swaped a B16, new starter, dizzy, battery, alternator was checked and is good.
About 80% of the time it takes several tries to start the motor, all it does is click. Sometimes it starts right up sometimes it takes an hour. At first I thought it could be the igintor but I already repleaced the whole dizzy. My radiator does stay on for a few minutes after I drive the car around would that affect the starting?
I greatly appricate any and all help
Thanks,
Ryan

I have the same problem, might be your started solenoid. Also I learned that recently, the ground wire for the starter has to be copper/brass?, and I have a steel one...

i would replace the starter seloniod. i was having the same problem on my b20 ls. some days, after driving for a long period, the car would take forever to start back up. after i replaced it, i had no more problems.
I was having same issue, until one day all it did was click(last wee) the click is because the starter freezes up, sometimes it recovers but it means its most definitely on its way out.
Autozone / honda/acura grab a new starter...
You can also start by checking battery but thats up to you, also, check the two connections on top of the starter to make sure they're in nice and tight. But TBH this sounds exactly like my starter, i replaced it last week. No more clicks, starts like a champ.
good luck, let us know what works for you.

always run into this...i work in a auto parts store and the biggest reason of the click is a bad connection from the solenoid to the batter...check your power wire going strait the the starter and look for corrosion...best bet
